@ 1641, Co. 61 was alerted to 121 N. Commerce Dr. in Chester Twp along with 47 (Chester Township), 63 (Green Ridge), 52 (Brookhaven), 57 (Upland), 68 (MHTFD), 40 (Boothwyn) & Medic 81-7 for an alarm sounding.
 
Within moments PD advised of workers on location reporting a fire in the rear of the building. Snorkel 23 (Media) & Rescue 39 (Lower Chi) were added for the 1st & 2nd Rapid Intervention Teams.
 
The Tower, Squrt, & Engine Co. hit the street right after dispatched. Truck 63 arrived and placed handlines in service. The crew from the Tower, & Squrt ventilated the building. The job was placed under control within the first 20 minutes. The Tower was held along with Truck 63, Rescue 40, & Engine 47. Units operated on scene for about 1 hour. Good job to all units who operated on the fireground.
 
While the Tower was returning, the township companies were alerted to 2011 Manor St. for an alarm sounding. The Tower, Squrt, & Utility made the response. The Squrt, Utility, & UC-9 (J.Smith) arrived with nothing showing. The call was accidently tripped by the Resident. UC-9 recalled the assignment.
